GORE-TEX® Taslan
To make GORE-TEX® fabric, the GORE-TEX® membrane is bonded to high-performance textiles to create a laminated fabric. There are different GORE-TEX® laminates to satisfy the requirements of different end uses.
Three-layer GORE-TEX® Taslan The first GORE-TEX® fabric introduced was a three-layer laminate consisting of a high-performance outer fabric bonded to the GORE-TEX® membrane. On the other side, a protective knit liner-fabric is bonded to the membrane.
Three-layer laminates are designed for ultimate durability in rugged-use applications and can be used as reinforcements in high-wear/high-abrasion areas.
