Choosing your perfect gaiter
Wherever your adventure takes you, a good pair of gaiters can keep you on your feet for longer. Forming an effective sleeve over the top of your boots and lower leg of your trousers protecting against the elements, brush and debris that can get into your shoes and ruin a good days walk. Our walking gaiters come in different fits and sizes, and are made with different materials and features to provide the perfect solution for your next adventure.
Read on to find out which is right for you.

Which fit is right?
Our Alpine fit gaiters are designed to work with higher cut, slim profile walking boots. Snag-free drawcord adjustment, and fail-safe hook and loop closures make these gaiters ideal for climbing or expedition use.
Classic trekking fit gaiters, on the other hand, work with most standard walking boots. A tapered, elasticated fit around the calf, provides an effective seal around the top of the boot offering excellent all-weather protection from knee to foot. These are perfect for hillwalking, and ramblers of all kinds.
Ankle gaiters offer protection against scree, pebbles, snow and sand ingress in the warmer months. Supremely breathable and lightweight, they are ideal for the summer months and trail runners.

Choosing the material
Maximising protection and comfort for the wearer, GORE-TEX® gaiters provide long-lasting, comfortable weather protection you can trust. Durably waterproof, windproof and highly breathable these gaiters offer the best performance for any adventure.
Our DRY™ gaiters offer great value performance, using our own waterproof and breathable technology for protection from the elements. Ideal for longer days walking on the hill.
Polyester canvas gaiters are incredibly durable for protection against abrasion and, paired with smooth inner linings, help significantly reduce noise. These styles are ideal for country sports and woodland.

The right size
Now you have the right gaiter for your adventure, you have to choose the size that fits you best. The majority of our gaiters are split into three sizes (1,2 and 3) which take into account your height as well as shoe size, giving a better indication of calf length - and therefore a better fitting gaiter. These sizes overlap, ensuring you can always find a perfect fit. Where sizes are S/M, these gaiters will fit shoe sizes 3.5 - 7.5 (EU 36 - 42) while L/XL will fit shoe sizes 7.5 - 11 (EU 42 - 46).
